  1. You are just reading talking points …this is something else besides the fact that PG&E is bankrupt, more like eco terrorism

  2. So funny. The politics of unintended consequences.
You canโ€™t clear brush around power lines

  4. The power outages is NOT about wind….it's about Californicators can no longer mooch off Nevada. You fools are on your own. No more water,no more power, as Lake Mead is down over 160 feet, and the Hoover Dam can no longer produce the electricity to Californication. America hates Californication. Nothing but idiots, illegals, druggies, fools, perverseness, and has been celebrities who yell but don't help the moochers in that Satan owned state. Perverse….satan owned……burn, baby….burn. I am wishing they'd fall into the ocean…..one can hope.

  5. How did California get to be such a train wreck ? Abundant natural resources, beautiful weather, American industry like airplane manufacturing facilities, automobile plants, computers . What are you people doing out there ?

  6. Uummm SO is Commie fornia going to shut the water off when we have water droughts Because they let most of it run off into the ocean.think about it,,,,, SMH. AND JUST SAYING.

  7. Bilderbergโ€™s New World Order full speed ahead through UN Agenda 2030 which involves corporations and nongovernmental organizations! Itโ€™s a win for them! Be sure to thank Nancy Pelosi! Look up โ€œNancy Pelosi UN Agenda 21!โ€

  8. As soon as Cali had its power outage, all of the shills and anti-Trumpers went mysteriously silent… ๐Ÿค”

  9. Feces on the sidewalks, used needles all over the sidewalks, pee and filth everywhere, tents and drugged out people everywhere, no water for the last 10 years, now no electric, diseases from 100 years ago coming back, rats and roaches running all over the streets, alleys and garbage strewn everywhere AND the moronic LEFTISTS have no idea what your problem is. Calif. is beautiful, a garden of Eden, they love were they live, makes me wonder what drug THEY are all taking! UNBELIEVABLE!

  10. AMAZES me how great the LEFT have become in deny deny deny, then blame Trump, blame the right, blame everyone but themselves for voting in more garbage! Haven't they heard of the saying, VOTING THE SAME WAY YEAR AFTER YEAR BUT EXPECTING DIFFERENT RESULTS IS CALLED INSANITY AND STUPIDITY!!!

  11. Gov Newsom says turn power back on. Fire cleanse treatment for liberal paradise. And it drives the last white people from NorCal

  12. Wow California is definitely a 3rd world country! 1/2 population is homeless or on drugs, prices are outrageous for everything, dieses are out of control and now no power.

  13. This is not what they say it is. The answer to the problem that they describe is to do patrols. Put some of those people soaking up that sanctuary and free healthcare to work. The weather is the same as it always was. Infirm elderly people will die from this, crime will skyrocket, and less wholesome governmental activities will be hidden. But then…

  14. Wow!!! I guess they should of upgraded
their utilities instead of giving money to illegal aliens and building a useless bullet train.

  15. California politicians wanted someone to blame after the big wildfire so they blamed the power company and almost bankrupted them. Now, to cover their own tails, the power company shuts off power when the high winds blow. The liberal politicians have made such a mess of things maybe the people of the state will wake up now and get rid of them.

  16. I think PG&E is playing pay back and it should be against the law every person affected by this shut down of power should file suit against PG&E and force them to forfit all claims of ownership of the company and without any financial transaction turn the company overall to another power company, Also i think the company should have to pay ever household at least 100 dollars for every day the power is shut off, Me I have to take at least 2 breathing treatments every day and without power i cannot take my breathing treatment and my power was shut off Tuesday night at midnight and my breathing is very difficult and i think they owe me big time i would also like for them TO tell me how they would like to have my breathing problems.
SINCE California is ruled by democrats I know nothing is going to be done about this.
I also think PG&E should be put in control of another power company and not have to pay the owners of PG&E one red penny.

  17. Declare bankruptcy and move to another state. PG&E would have one less customer. California would have one less taxpayer.

  18. Watch the lawsuits fly. This is not about safety, This is about screwing a community before they bankrupt and bring windmills on the ridge of the mountains combined with solar energy. There is something much larger at work than safety going on here.

  19. BUILD THE WALL BUILD THE WALL BUILD THE WALL BUILD THE WALL BUILD THE WALL BUILD THE WALL BUILD THE WALL BUILD THE WALL AROUND CALIFORNIA TO…….

  20. Power cut to prevent wildfire's?
But wildfire's spread via telecom-radio frequency modulation. CA got a lot of wildfire's because of it's silicon valleys and semiconductors functions. And also lakes, ponds dried up.

  21. Hello stupid people what would happen if the earthquake came same thing. It's called a backup generator everyone's aware of them they were on the market for decades now there companies that specialize in them you don't need to run power for the entire business just for the perishables. A simple investment pay for overtime would save you thousands if not tens of thousands of dollars and lost products. Also you were given warning can in plenty of time and chose to ignore it. Typical lack of thinking of head and what is your States in such bad shape

  22. This is not to prevent wildfires, it's to prevent lawsuits. There used to be a thing called " an act of God " . The courts in California have decided to make private energy companies responsible for such occurrences. Southern California Edison has made the same decision to shut off power in certain areas. The Los Angeles Angeles Department of Water and Power has not made the same decision. Why ? Too hard to sue government.

  23. ROTHCHILDS OWN pGE..and has a goal to depopulate Northern California. So why can't the put the lines underground? Because there is an agenda.

  24. They should have run new lines under ground. Nasty Pelosi's son is on the board of PG&E. Of course these customers are going to be expected to pay their electricity bills that will reflect billing for line workers wages, that's the way PG&E are.

  25. EDIT: If anyone believes the narrative of the blackout by the media is not thinking critically.

The Truth is here: this power outage is a DRILL… to prepare is for much worse things to possibly come…CHINA has LOST the 2nd largest port of entry โ€˜LONG BEACH facilityโ€™ and changed ownership to the AUSSIES due to failing trade negotiations and national security….this information was not provided by the MSM….. the similar scenario happened to the Japanese prior to Pearl Harbor attack. The government will not tell the public to avoid a panic scenario, but will prepare Californians with a wide spread black out to disrupt services similar to the aftermath of an attack on US Soil.

We are dealing with an Communist internationalist Subversion and attack from the ruling class socialist communist elite. We want California BACK!!!

  26. AND NOW WILDFIRES HAVE BROKE OUT —- AND PEOPLE COMPLAIN WHAT A PATHETIC STATE —– you people should listen next time and shut the hell up

  27. Start taxing the movie industry 70%. That will pay for all of your woes, Clownifornia. Oh wait, they all make movies elsewhere now because of taxes. Bummer.

  28. They want welfare for all, unsustainable open borders, sanctuary cities but cannot afford to repair their grid. Hmmm, it must be the Trump supporters fault.

  29. If California would change policies and clear brush around power lines like most sane states, they wouldn't have to worry about mother nature doing so indiscriminately as happened last year with a large loss of life.

  30. why didn't they just bury the new lines? around here it's the old neighborhoods with above ground, like 60's, all areas build since 80's/90's been underground. what am I missing, why in 2019 would they go pole?

  31. Guess what, South California got another HUGE forest fire now and it is common problems happening in California EVERY YEAR now in the last 5-6 years. This one is NOT related to power line or PG&E so the Socialist Left can't blame other for their TOTAL FAILURE of their forest management for the past decades.

  32. This tactic will cause most of socialist California tax base away. Business movรญng to Nevada and other states. California allowed the utility owners to be sued for last years fires that lightning caused. Utility now in bankruptcy. So, they refuse to take the chance of fake lawsuits. No electricity when it's windy. That's what socialist totalitarianism does in socialist California.

  33. California not only has wildfires, it also has earthquakes that can bring down the local power grid. Some small businesses have their own propane tanks and generators. Look at how well the Waffle House restaurants cope with the natural disasters that cause power outages. The businesses that do not have a contingency plan and equipment in place to cope with power outages have in effect planned to shut down during power outages. That is their choice. In a system of free enterprise, those businesses that cannot adapt to change will not prosper. If P G & E customers are dissatisfied with the service they get from their power company, they are free to take their business elsewhere. Such as moving out of state or installing a stand alone photovoltaic system for their home or business. That is freedom of choice in a capitalistic system. Which is very different from expecting nationalization of energy companies that would then be run by the government. Which would be a form of socialism instead of free enterprise.

  34. Jeez Californians, you have fires, power outages, poo, needles, massive homeless, ancient plagues. TRY electing Republicans and see if things get better. They can't do worse. What next under the socialist democrats, locusts and frogs????

  35. If I'm correct these same power companies make it impossible for auto backup power sources on connected lines even if they disconnect from the utility

  36. Let me see. No water, bad sewage, needles and crap on the streets, wildfires, no power, ecoli and flesh eating disease in the water everywhere, 15th century diseases, and the highest amount of STDs apparently in the world? This is got to be hell on earth.

  37. "INVESTOR-OWNED" utility = Capitalism, not "socialism."

"INVESTOR-OWNED" utility shuts off essential service to protect "shareholder value" = Capitalism, not "socialism."

Public Power's time has come. Always cheaper, and equally- or more-reliable than for profit "service."
