Configuring a journal rule for selected users of your Office 365 domain


Greetings from Mithi, welcome to a series
of self learning videos on understanding and using Vaultastic, the easiest and the most
secure email archiving solution yet. In this video, we will learn configuring a
journal rule for selected users of your Office 365 domain. Before configuring a journal rule, make sure
you have provisioned all the required users on the corresponding Vaultastic domain. If a user is not present on Vaultastic, email
messages sent from or received to that user will not be archived on Vaultastic. Make sure that you have configured a SMTP
mail route to Office 365 to route mail to Vaultastic. Set a recipient ID to receive non-delivery
reports or NDR’S. To archive mail for selected users, you need
to create a distribution list of Office 365 users for whom journaling needs to be enabled. Then define a journal rule for the distribution
list to start archiving the email messages. First, let’s see the steps to create a distribution
list of users. Log on to the Office 365 portal and from the
home screen click on the admin tile. Click on the group’s drop-down. Click on the groups option, choose distribution
list as the type of group to be created. Fill in the details and add in the relevant
details. Once the group is created, open the group
and add members to the group. Members of this list should be the users of
Office 365 domain for whom journaling needs to be enabled. Close the window as you finish creating the
distribution list. Next, let’s configure the journal rule to
archive mail sent or received by the members of this distribution list. Log on to the Office 365 portal and from the
home screen launch the admin center. From the left pane of the admin center, navigate
to the exchange admin. From the left menu on the exchange admin interface,
select the compliance management option and choose to open the journal rules tab. Click the plus sign to create a journal rule. This opens a new journal rule window. First provide the journal ID of Vaultastic
in the format [email protected].vaultastic.com. Office 365 will send journal reports to this
ID on Vaultastic. In this case for domain thinkshop.vaultastic.com,
ID to receive all journal reports will be [email protected] Give a name to the rule. Apply the rule if the message is sent or received
from a specific user or group. Choose the newly created distributed list
of selected users from whom archiving needs to be enabled. Add the group ID and click OK. Journal all messages, that is, sent to or
received from local users as well as external users. Save the rule. Now as per the rule, all mail messages of
all the users of the Office 365 domain will be archived on their respective accounts on

How to backup Office 365 Mailbox from Microsoft’s Cloud to Local Hard-drive


Before creating an Office 365 backup set, read the Office 365 Backup and Restore guide from our Forum. Go to page 6 of this document Go through the steps in “Granting Permission to Accounts for Creating Backup Set”, and “Granting Permission for Application Impersonation” Then, you can backup all the mailboxes within your company’s Office 365 account with your administrator role. Open your CloudBacko Pro software, and click “Backup Sets” to create a new Office 365 backup set. Enter your Office 365 administrator credentials here. Here, you can select the Mailboxes and Public Folders to backup. In this Schedule section, define the time that you need CloudBacko to start the backup automatically. You can define multiple schedules. E.g. you can have another Weekly schedule. Now, we have 2 schedules created. Next, define the Destination for storing your backup data. In this demo, we are going to use Local Drive as the destination. You can backup to multiple destinations simultaneously if needed. You can encrypt the backup data with an encryption key for security purpose. With the “Default” encryption type, CloudBacko will generate a 256-bit full length encryption key to encrypt the data. Or you can define your own key and algorithm by selecting “Custom” encryption type. This is the 256-bit full length encryption key generated by the software. Save this key securely, and ideally outside your existing computer so that when you need to recover the backup data on another CloudBacko installation, you can do it with this key. Ok, the backup set is created. We can trigger a backup now. When backup is completed, you can click the Report icon to see the backup details. Thanks for watching.

Active Campaign Demo + Review (Email Marketing Automations)


If you’re a small business, then
automating as much as possible will definitely help your business to grow!
The reason why is because you have limited time. You have so much limited
time, but so many things that you need to do. That is why I truly enjoy
using ActiveCampaign! When I first started with email marketing, I
was using MailChimp. It was really hard to actually tag people the
correct way in Mailchimp. Or to even divvy up your list and create segments with
out having to be double billed for the same user. So I switched from Mailchimp, and then I went on over to Convertkit. I
actually really (really!) enjoyed using Convertkit. I love Convertkit. Convertkit
was actually great for me, but the inner… “Pretty email person” inside
of me was like craving to have something that could really withstand having
beautiful pictures put inside my stuff or nice buttons that are put inside of
my automations and everything like that. So, I left a Convertkit and I went over and
I started with ActiveCampaign. Now, let me tell you… Okay. ActiveCampaign… My
heart… So, active campaign has been amazing! And if you have not used any
sort of automation inside your email marketing business what are you doing?
You need to start using automations like today. And the reason why is because
automation will help to save you so much time in your business! Instead of
having to send out emails every single week to people because they’re in a particular program and you want to send them certain emails, then set up an automation for it, and save yourself an hour of your day! It is so deep with the type and amount of automation that you can actually create
in ActiveCampaign. You have date-based automations, you can make people in your list (who are going through a funnel) to actually wait in a certain part if they
didn’t do a certain action on your site if it’s not a certain date or based off
of what type of tags they have you can start automation based on all these
different types of things you can really automate the entire email marketing
process and not even just for regular marketing purposes but you can also
automate the processes that you would normally communicate with your clients
or with your customers based on certain types of actions or dates or anything
else that they’re doing on your site it’s just another reason why I truly
enjoy active campaign I feel like I’m really able to have the deliverability
that I want because deliverability is one of the main main problems that a lot
of people have with their work with their email marketing platforms some
some of them just do not deliver that well or you’ll just keep getting put
into spam nobody wants to be put into spam no one’s seeing your messages and
the ease of actually making your automations and super easy
they have a ton of pre-made templates for automation like tons of them at
least 50 of them where you can pick from like stuff that would drive revenue
stuff that way increased customer satisfaction stuff that would help to
build relationships with your audience even re-engagement automations there’s
so many things to pick from and you don’t need to use them you just need to
use what’s right through your business what’s right for your brand but I truly
just enjoy using active campaign if you want to give extra campaign a try

automations right now and it’s great like it automates so much stuff for you
and even me like running my program and stuff I set up an automation in there so

like ok when they are in this automation so you’re gonna get these emails this
cycle you can set up on nations that go in cycles it repeats and repeats and
repeats you can set up portions of it that just sends you an email so you can
go and update something or call your client or email a customer on your own
you can do so many things and I feel like as if campaign is one of the email
marketing platforms that gives you almost endless possibilities and that is
why I feel as though I am going to be sticking around with them for quite some
time because they give me the flexibility that I truly want and while
also giving me the beautiful emails and stuff that actually gets delivered to my
people the people are in my community and people that’s in my list so I truly

Measuring success in email marketing


When it comes to managing the success
of your email campaigns, understanding your audience’s behaviour is essential. In this lesson we’ll explore the benefits associated with
understanding email performance, as well as cover common metrics that can provide
insights to help you optimise future campaigns. First, let’s look at why utilising email metrics
can be a powerful addition to your marketing toolbox. Let’s say you own a pet supply shop and have gathered a
strong email marketing list made up of interested customers. Using the analytics from your email platform, you can discover the number of people clicking from
your email to your website, or how many complete any call to actions you’ve set,
such as making an online purchase using a discount code. This type of informed decision-making can
lead to greater conversion rates, and help you refine any future campaigns for success. So the benefits of reviewing email metrics are clear. But what story, or insights, can these
individual metrics tell you? Let’s take a look at five useful email marketing metrics: An email campaign Open Rate is simply the ratio of
people who’ve actively opened the email vs. the total number of people who received it. This is useful for understanding the
effectiveness of your email subject line. For example, if a subject line of
‘Things We Love About Our Pets’ receives a higher open rate then an email titled
‘Discounts and Offers on Pet Food’, this tells you your audience favours emails that give
them insight into life as a pet owner, rather than promotional content. Once you know how many people opened the email,
take a look at the Click Through Rate, or CTR. This offers a top level view of the
success of the individual email campaign, and gives you the percentage of people that clicked on
links to your website from every email that was opened. The Click-to-Open Rate takes into account total number
of clicks vs emails that were actually opened. This gives you a more realistic idea of audience engagement because if they opened your email and went
on to click a link, you clearly did something right! Another useful metric is Conversion Rate. Say you have a free pet grooming workshop
coming up that you advertised in your email. The conversion rate would show how
many people you sent the email to, compared to the number of people who actually
ended up registering for the event. Sometimes, when you send emails they ‘bounce’ back. The Bounce Rate is the percentage of emails that could
not be delivered to subscribers and were sent back. There are two kinds of bounces to be aware of: Soft Bounces: These are rejected due to a full inbox or
size limit restriction on your audience’s email server. Hard Bounces: Your emails are blocked or
the address you are using is incorrect. A breakdown of hard bounces per email campaign
can show you which email addresses to remove, saving you time and effort for your next campaign. Looking at the metrics and the story they tell will
help you understand what’s working and what isn’t. the next step is to adjust any
future campaigns accordingly, whether that be to refine the subject lines, review the type
of content published, or clean up your subscribers list. We’ve now covered some valuable email metrics that will help you uncover useful insights from

How to email documents in Dynamics 365 Business Central


Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central. How to email documents. Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central offers the ability to send documents by email, directly from the page that shows the document. In this video, we’ll go through the steps to send a posted sales invoice to a customer in an email message. Before we can send emails, we need to connect our email account to Business Central. To help us do that, Business Central provides the “Set up email” assisted setup guide. After we complete the steps in the guide, we can send documents by email. Let’s send the posted sales invoice to a customer. We’ll choose the Search icon at the top right of the screen, type “Posted Sales Invoices” and choose the Posted Sales Invoices link in the search results. We’ll choose the invoice to open the posted sales invoice page, and then choose the Print/Send action. The options for emailing the document are Send, which uses the document sending profile assigned to the customer to send the invoice, and Email, which opens the Send Email page. If we choose Send, the Send Document To page opens, and in the Email field we can choose to use the default settings or to be prompted for settings. We’ll choose the “Yes (Prompt for Settings)” option to open the Settings page in the next step. Choose the email attachment type and press OK. The Send Email page will open and we can review our message. We can add recipients on the Cc and Bcc fields, edit the subject, and of course review the email content. If everything is correct, we can choose OK to send the message. If we choose Email instead of the Send action from the posted sales invoice, the Send Email page opens immediately, so we can review our message before we send it. And that’s it. How to setup Office 365 email on iPhone (Updated for iPhone 7 & iOS10)


Welcome to Office 365 for beginners. My name
is Elliot Munro, I work for GCITS on the Gold Coast of Australia. We’re an award winning
Microsoft Partner who use the cloud to help growing businesses everywhere get really productive,
really fast. Let’s have a look at how we set up Office 365 email on an iphone. Now there
are two main ways to do it that I like to use. I like to use the iOS mail app that’s
built into the apple operating system, and Outlook for iOS. So to start with, you want
to set up the iOS mail app. You go to settings, and then you tap mail, and then you select
Accounts, and tap Add account, and choose Exchange. Next you enter your Office 365 email
and password, and then you tap Next. Now if for any reason this doesn’t work, here are
a few things you can try. But once the ticks appear you can sync your mail, your contacts,
your calendars, your reminders and your notes. You might be prompted to keep your notes on
your phone and I recommend saying keep on my phone, and then click Save, and that’s
going to add Office 365 email to your phone. The next thing you want to do is set Office
365 as the default account for your mail, your contacts and your calendars. To do this
you go back to Mail, you go down to Default Account, and you tap Exchange. This will ensure
that each email, contact and calendar appointment you create will sync with Office 365 by default.
So we’re doing the same thing with the Contacts here, and then we’re gonna go down to Calendar,
and we’re gonna make sure that the default calendar is also set to Exchange as well.
So now if we open up the mail app here, we’re gonna see that our email has arrived in, and
the account is all set up. Now if you’re OK with doing the bare minimum you can stop here,
but I recommend setting up the Outlook for iOS app as well. And the way that you do that
is open up the App Store, and then search for Outlook. You should see Microsoft Outlook,
and then we can download this app here. And then we want to open it up. We can tap Get
Started, we can say Notify Me and choose Allow and this will let us know when we get an important
email or an invite to a Calendar appointment. And then we put our Office 365 email address
in, and then we tap Add Account. Now my account is set up in a slightly different way, but
this app handles it wonderfully, it does my two step authentication straight out of the
box, so if you had any authentication issues with the other app, you probably won’t have
them here. Now this app has a Focused Inbox where it highlights important emails and notifies
you about them, it’s got a Calendar built in and it also lets you attach files from
various cloud storage accounts, it really is my favourite email app for the iPhone.
Now these here, these actions are the swipe actions, Archive and Schedule. Let’s have
a look at Schedule in a little bit more detail. You can open up an email and you can schedule
it, so that email will disappear for the time being, and then remind you about it later
on. And you can set when that reminder is. Now you can also customise what these swipe
actions do. If you go down to Settings, and then Swipe Options, the defaults are Schedule
and Archive, but you can do a lot more. So I usually change my right swipe to be flag,
and my left swipe to be delete. Now to be fair you can also do a similar thing within
the standard Mail app. If you go into Settings and then Mail, and then if we go to Swipe
Options, you can say swipe left (or right) will do certain things, but you don’t get
the same amount of options as this Outlook App. So here’s few reasons why you should
use both, I run both on my phone because they do slightly different things. But I think
the Outlook App does have the edge in terms of features and compatibility with Office
