Training with the Best | Military Working Dogs

Being a military working dog handler, in
my opinion, is probably the best job in the Marine Corps. When I wake up in the morning, the first
thing I get to do is I go play with a dog. So, it’s a good feeling knowing that hey, no matter what that day is going to throw at you,
as long as I have my pal next to me, I can get through anything. We recently just deployed
with the 22nd MEU. We come on that ship as an enabler. We’re here to do
our job and to do our job well. We were able to go to Kuwait, we were able
to go to Qatar and train with the Air Force, we went to Bahrain and trained with
the Navy personnel in Bahrain. We did a lot of good stuff on that deployment. Our sole purpose is to get deployed
and to provide that safety net. No matter what,
you can rely on us.

  1. Excellent video.     Unfortunately, so many K9s are abandoned at the deployment zones.    –   The saving grace is that there are several organizations in the United States that help bring our K9 warriors home.

  2. Today, I heard a rumor that the Marine Reserves are being called to active duty. I'm just a civilian, so please forgive my ignorance. Has anyone here heard this?

  3. I hope that one day that I can get my Dream Job of a Vet Tech taking care of the US Military Bomb Stiffing Dogs and the US Military Working Dogs.🇺🇸🇺🇸🎗🎗🐕🐩

  4. Fur Missile!
That's a good doggo with an excellent set of chompers. The sniffer on him! Whos a good doggo? Thats a good doggo right there!

  5. Our military dogs get great treatment as long as they are deployed with American troops. However, the U.S. State Department does not have a good record on bomb-sniffing dogs sent to the Middle East. CNN published an article on Monday, September 16, 2019 entitled "The US sent bomb-sniffing dogs to Jordan. Now they're dying from poor treatment" link: https://www.cnn.com/2019/09/16/us/jordan-dog-death-intl-hnk-scli/index.html . The details and photos are horrifying. It is still going on. Apparently no one is doing anything about these valuable military assets being hideously abused, though a report was filed after an investigation. More of our tax dollars being wasted and Americans disrespected.

  6. I am the daughter of a former military soldier ( Army ) and the cousin of five cousins who served in the military as ( 3 cousins was in the Army and 1 was in the Marines and the last cousin was in the Navy)
My late father told me about his experience in the military
He never talked about the military dogs
    Here is my question
Does he dog handlers and the military dogs get deployed together went they get the orders go be deployed to another country ?
